The Finnish engineering group Raute Oy recently said in a statement that its Raute Precision unit had won orders worth FM 80 million from Guardian Industries Corporation of the United States. The orders were for two glass plant raw materials systems, one for a Brazilian facility and one for a US plant. The company said the total value of the deliveries is almost FM 80 million and they will be ready in summer 1998. It also said the Brazilian order was its first glass industry project in South America.
