The Indonesian firm PT Pupuk Kaltim is to spend US$ 200 million to erect an ammonium nitrate plant and increase the capacity of a soda ash plant that is being built. The soda ash capacity was originally set at 150,000 tonnes/year, but will be enlarged to meet current local needs, put at 400,000 tonnes/year.
