US-based LYNX Services, founded by PPG Industries in 1994 to manage auto glass claims between insurance companies and glass installers, announced that it has redesigned its web site, www.lynxservices.com, to provide glass installers and insurance agents 24-hour access to job status, news and a variety of self-service options. “We went directly to our customers to assess their needs,” said Christine F. Hasenfus, the LYNX Services senior accountt manager who administers the site. “As a result, we“ve not only made the site easier for them to navigate, but also provided them with an around-the-clock window to the information they need to manage their businesses.” At the new site, glass installers can manage auto glass replacement or repair jobs, check the status of payment on those dispatched jobs, sign up for electronic fund transfers (EFT), and confirm their locations are active participants in the LYNX Services program. All information for glass service providers is located in the Installer Resources section of the site. The site also includes information and resources for insurance companies.
