Pilkington Italia to exhibit at ShopExpo in Milan

Pilkington Italia will be exhibiting its high performance glass products at the ShopExpo in Milan, Italy from April 19-21, 2017.

ShopExpo is the Conference-Exhibition dedicated to pop visual marketing, digital signage and new technologies, shop fitting, and retail design, corner and shop in shop.
Pilkington Italia will be present with a booth demonstrating the anti-reflective Pilkington OptiView™ Protect OW laminated security glass designated for shop windows.
Visitors will have an opportunity to see other products as well for use as glass design elements suitable for various applications:
Pilkington Mirropane™ Chrome – special chromium based mirror glass product with highly reflective coating, resistant to humidity and corrosion;
Pilkington Optiwhite™ – an extra clear, low-iron glass – a leading product in its class that for more than 25 years has been chosen by architects and designers for its fine quality and aesthetic;
The new range of Pilkington Design Glass – toughened enamelled glass, with an anti-scratch surface, available in a wide range of colours – versatile product for today’s interiors.
Another highlight of the booth would be an interactive smart mirror solution manufactured by the company Lux Media, with the use of the company’s new generation Pilkington MirroView™ suitable for touch screen technology. An application positioned behind the Pilkington MirroView™ glass interacts with barcodes and uses RFID technology to identify product tags and recognize objects.
Using the touch screen for an exciting shopping experience, the customer will be able to see product availability in the store, request staff assistance, and view other matching item options.
