Owens Corning named David L. Johns chief technology officer. In a recent press release, the company said Johns will lead its new technology unit, formed by combining the information systems and science and technology units. Johns joined the company“s information systems unit in 1994. Warren W. Wolf, who led the science and technology unit for the past two years, will report to Johns. The new unit will focus on glass melting, information systems, electronic commerce, information management and information selling.
