It is the seventh consecutive year Owens Corning has appeared on the list, and the second year in a row that the firm has ranked first in innovation. The “Most Admired” list is considered by many the definitive report card on corporate reputations. The Hay Group, FORTUNE“s survey partners, asked numerous executives, directors and analysts from around the world to rate companies in their own industry on the following criteria: quality of management; quality of products and services; innovation; long-term investment value; financial soundness; ability to attract, develop and keep talented people; social responsibility; use of corporate assets and global competitiveness.
