US Oldcastle Glass has completed the purchase of Canadian glass firm, Antamex International Inc., for an undisclosed sum. Antamex specialises in curtain walling for commercial developments and is based in Toronto with business interests in several European countries. Antamex is noted for its work in glass engineering and research and development and will, according to NCB Stockbrokers in Ireland, prove to be a good fit for Oldcastle“s North American operations. Oldcastle is a subsidiary of CRH plc, the world“s third largest international building products company, headquartered in Ireland.
