The National Glass Association (NGA) has announced the addition of a new line of courses covering Windshield Repair to its online training program, MyGlassClass.com. “The value of this windshield repair training program goes beyond the quality that our NGA Windshield Repair Committee wrote into the content,” said Leo Cyr, the vice president of NGA“s Auto Glass Division. “Through MyGlassClass.com, the program is available 24/7, 365 days a year; and there is no extra cost or lost time in travel. In addition, the course has been vetted against the new ANSI / NGA Repair of Laminated Auto Glass Standard (ROLAGS)”. The new courses cover the repair of laminated automotive glass, and the science and practice of windshield repair. In a first for the site, each course is accompanied by an audio track, provided by Mr. Cyr. These courses can be purchased through the course catalog or as a bundle. “The instant accessibility of the MyGlassClass.com modules to our employees for training is a giant leap ahead of traditional training methods”, said Jay Sampson of Safety Auto Glass. “The mgc.com modules are an outstanding new resource for our employees”.
