According to audited results, the internationally renowned Czech glass manufacturer Moser made a net profit in 1998 of Kcs 3 million, a major fall from the Kcs 4.6 million posted in 1997. The company director of Moser, Antonin Vlk said that overall revenues grew 16% year on year to Kcs 233.5 million, while revenues from sales added 15% to Kcs 216.3 million last year. Vlk said the company, which has 385 staff, increased sales in the Czech Republic by 18% year on year. Exports which account for 35% of revenues were 55% of total production last year. Vlk said he hopes that revenues at Moser will increase in 1999 by 10%. Moser is owned by the Iris company, which has an 85% stake. Moser“s share capital is Kcs 70.4 million.
