In a press release from Messe Frankfurt, the German-based trade fair company, it was announced that Stephan Kurzawski is the new head of the consumer goods fairs division. Kurzawski has been in his new position since 1 March this year. As divisional manager, he will be responsible for the Premiere, Ambiente and Tendence consumer-goods fairs, as well as the Art Frankfurt fair and the company“s consumer-goods fairs outside Germany. Kurzawski succeeds Gerhard Gladitsch who was appointed member of the board of management of Messe Frankfurt last summer. Also on 1 March, Ruth Lorenz, formerly Ambiente Event Manager responsible for Tavola & Cucina and the Passage exhibitors, became head of national and international sales of Messe Frankfurt. Her successor is Thomas Kastl, previously a sales specialist for the Table Decor & Accessories trade fair.
