The Macedonian factory for non-alkaline glass fibres in the town of Gostivar reported an output of 2,200 tonnes of fibres for the first half of 2001. The factory made revenue of MKD 215 million for the same period. Director Koce Kirovski said that its capacities were not completely used due to the military crisis in the country. The glass fibres producer plans to make 3,000 tonnes of fibres in the second half of 2001. The company has already contracted its production for exports.
