The Lysychanska Soda public company (Lysychansk, Luhansk region), the second largest soda producer in the Ukraine, ended 2005 with a loss of UAH 9.996 million. Net revenue for 2005 increased by UAH 83.689 million or 97.4% to UAH 169.584 million, compared to the previous year. Lysychanska Soda ended 2004 with a loss of UAH 9.587 million. The company specializes in production of soda ash. Apart from Lysychanska Soda, soda ash is produced in the Ukraine by the Crimean soda factory (Krasnoperekopsk, Crimea). Lysychanska Soda has a capacity of 1,500 tons of soda per day.
