Shareholders of Lysychansk Soda, Ukraine“s second large soda producer (the town of Lysychansk, Luhansk region) announced in a statement that they had dismissed Oleksandr Bondarenko from the post of director general of 15 months, and appointed Gennady Galunov, at their meeting on 23 November 2009. Galunov, who was previously director general at Vega-R (Perm, Russia), was appointed for three years. Lysychansk Soda had previously suggested shareholders to appeal to the business court for the introduction of readjustment. Lysychansk Soda, registered as an open joint-stock company, has a daily capacity of up to 1,500 tons of soda ash.
