Finland“s Kyro Group has named Claus Carlsen the new Managing Director of Glaston Technologies“ Glass Processing Group and Tamglass Safety Glass Ltd. Mr. Carlsen, 40, takes up the appointment from 1 January 2006. Mr. Carlsen previously worked at Tamglass between 1989-1997 in various positions including as Marketing Director. He will join Kyro Group from a British packaging company, LINPAC Group, where he worked as Managing Director of the German and Nordic group companies. Mr. Carlsen“s versatile international experience makes him the right choice to carry out the profitable growth and internationalization of the Glass Processing Group, said Kyro Group CEO and President Pentti Yliheljo. In the new year, Pertti Iivanainen, the long-standing Director of the Glass Processing Group and Tamglass Safety Glass Ltd., will become the Business Development Director of the Glass Processing Group and continue as a member of the group company boards. Sasu Koivumki is the Managing Director of Tamglass Finton Oy (Balcony Systems) and Jorma Nenonen is the Managing Director of Tamglass Insulating Glass Ltd. Both companies are part of Glaston Technologies“ Glass Processing Group. Claus Carlsen will report to Pentti Yliheljo.
