Tokmok “Interglass” glass factory has issued bonds which were registered in the State commission under the Kyrgyz government on the securities market, chairman of the commission Uran Abdynasyrov said at a press conference. He said the firm had issued 20,000 bonds priced at EUR 100 per bond, worth a total of EUR 2 million. The term of the securities in the market will be 2 years. Interest of 12% will be paid to bond owners every six months. Abdynasyrov emphasized that the most important aspect of the bond issue is the transparency of the company“s financial activities as bond holders are entitled to information on the firm“s prospects. In the opinion of Interglass general director Nurdin Abdyldaev, the bond issue will allow the firm to improve production levels. Interglass is now the largest manufacturer of sheet glass in Central Asia. According to the factory director, output is sufficient to cover demand for glass in the markets of the Central Asian countries, Far East Russian regions and Siberia. At present Interglass supplies its products to the Urals, Siberia, Turkey, Afghanistan and Holland.
