Anglo-Norwegian engineering firm Kvaerner ASA said it had won a deal worth 1.5 billion crowns (US$ 186 million) to build a plant for the production of soda ash and sodium bicarbonate for American Soda. It said in a statement to the Oslo bourse that the deal included engineering and construction of the facility, to be built in Colorado.
