Ningbo-based glass manufacturer Kibing Group has reportedly signed an agreement on 17 January 2010 to invest RMB 3.5 billion to construct two energy-conserving glass production lines in the Qingshuitang Industrial Zone, Zhuzhou, Hunan province, China. The first line is expected to have a daily production of 600 tons of low-emissivity glass, while the second will produce 800 tons of ultra-clear glass per day for thin-film solar cell companies. Annual sales of the project, scheduled to b completed in five years, are expected to reach RMB 3 billion.
