The executive board of Polish listed glassworks KHS Krosno SA in Krosno, southeastern Poland, will recommend a dividend payment for 2003 at the general shareholders“ meeting scheduled for 13 May 2004, the company said on 13 April 2004. The company had not yet revealed what sum it will allocate for the dividend payment. KHS Krosno reported a PLN 9.6 million (USD 2.5 million/EUR 2.0 million) net profit for 2003. The company generated a net profit of PLN 9.0 million (USD 2.3 million/EUR 1.9 million) for 2002. It allocated PLN 6.3 million (USD 1.6 million/EUR 1.3 million) for the dividend payment, which was PLN 2.5 (USD 0.64/EUR 0.53) per share for 2002. KHS Krosno produces handmade and automatically formed household glassware. It also manufactures fiberglass and technical glass such as soda and borosilicate glass tubes.
