Polish bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA (Pekao) extended a PLN 20 million (USD 6.5 million/EUR 4.9 million) loan to glassware manufacturer KHS Krosno on 23 December 2004. KHS Krosno will use the loan to finance its current operations. Repayment is due by 22 December 2005. KHS Krosno owns three glass works in Krosno, Jaslo and Tarnow, all in southeastern Poland. The company derives some 70% of its revenue from exports. KHS Krosno which is now the largest household glassware manufacturer in Poland, exports its products mainly to the United States, Russia, South Africa and the Middle East.
