Polish glassware manufacturer KHS Krosno has created 300 new jobs at its Krosno glass works in southeastern Poland, the company said on 24 September 2004. The increase in the workforce is due to the introduction of a production line for handmade glass. KHS Krosno owns three glass works in Krosno, Jaslo and Tarnow, all in southeastern Poland. The company generated a PLN 11 million (USD 3.1 million/EUR 2.5 million) net profit on revenue of PLN 343 million (USD 97 million/EUR 79 million) for 2003.
