Advance International Transport has successfully executed a transport contract from Adra First Glass, a subsidiary of the Iranian Kaveh Glass Industry Group, which also included the specialized transport of out of gauge (OOG) cargoes. Jawad Kamel, president and CEO of Advance International Transport: This was a significant contract and one that we were proud to have completed successfully. In total, we transported 308 containers of all types and sizes, including flat beds with OOG cargo and 40ft boxes, to Adra First Glass, containing equipment and machinery for this new manufacturing complex.” Kamel claims that, in executing this contract we were able to set records for the quick turnaround of containers from origins in Europe and Asia taken to Adra through Lattakia, Syria“s busiest and most modern seaport. We returned empty containers from the jobsite within the shortest possible time ever recorded for this volume of containers in Syria.”
