Jushi Group, a leading manufacturer of fiberglass and fiberglass fabrics, has started production on what it claims is the world“s largest furnace drawing C-glass fiber production line. The new line is located at Jushi Group“s Chengdu plant, and the company plans to invest CNY 900 million for another three such production lines at the plant within five years, to build the largest C-glass fiber production base with an annual capacity of over 90,000 tons. Jushi Group Co., Ltd., part of China Chemical Building Materials Co., Ltd., set up the Jushi Group Chengdu branch jointly with Chengdu Ju Feng Glass Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Zhenshi Investment co., Ltd. in March 2004. Jushi Group is currently the largest producer of fiberglass reinforcements in China. Output amounts to 30% of China“s total production.
