Jockimo Incorporated has announced the introduction of ImagenGlass, offering, says the US company, extremely high quality images for Specialty Laminated Glass (SLG) designs. ImagenGlass is a photographic art glass product that provides an extremely high quality colour range and colour intensity, using high quality imagery applied to PET foil, with special photographic quality dyes, which is laminated inside of glass to meet ASTM standards. Thanks to Jockimo“s advanced printing technology, grainy dot patterns and fuzzy images are eliminated. “Printing on glass…or printing on film and laminating it inside of glass … is very popular today,” notes Tim Czechowski, president at Jockimo. “However, until now, existing print technology generally produced oversized images with visible dot patterns or a grainy, fuzzy look … often a result of poor images that were too pixilated or with unsightly jagged edges due to over resolution of an image.” ImagenGlass, with a maximum image size of 56 x 120, can be fabricated in different thicknesses as per the desired strength and application. It can be provided as insulated glass units, glass flooring, fire-rated glass as well as speciality decorative glasses.
