Jai Mata Glass Ltd. told the Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE) that at its board meeting of 29 January 2005 it was noted that agreement had been reached with the Labour Union on 6 January 2005, as a result of which “workmen joined duty in full strength on 21 January 2005”. It was also stated that production at one of the three furnaces commenced on a trial basis on 27 January 2005. In addition, engineers A.K. Roy and A.J. Shah were inducted onto the company board as of 29 January 2005, strengthening the board“s ability to implement technical restructuring and improvements to manufacturing technology.
