Jablonex, the North Bohemian exporter of garnet and imitation jewellery, expects its sales to be up 13% year on year in 1999, on gross earnings of Kcs 20 million. The company recorded net profits of Kcs 28.97 million in 1998 on sales of Kcs 1.677 billion, company CEO Otakar Havel said. In 1997, it posted a loss of Kcs 121 million on sales of Kcs 1.445 billion.
