The Italian vine-grower Gianacarlo Moretti Polegato has developed a wine bottle which keeps wine cool. This because the taste of the wine does not depend only on the quality, but also on the right temperature. The solution found by Polegato seems complicated, but works very simply: the bottle is composed of two glass bodies with the real bottle covered by a vase-shaped covering which is joined on the upper part of the vase“s border. The real bottle and the covering are divided by an insulating interspace. The “Glaxa” bottle, as it is called, was sold last year to the Villa Sandi company of Austria.
