Polish listed glassworks HSG Irena SA bought 268,043 shares in crystal manufacturer Huta Szkla Krysztalowego Violetta SA (Violetta) of Stronie Slaskie, southern Poland, for PLN 7 million (USD 2 million/EUR 1.6 million) on 27 September 2004. HSG Irena bought the shares from local trading company CEI Minex, a subsidiary of Polish meat processing company Rolmex SA.
