Brewing giant Heineken said 18 December 2002 that it had agreed to increase its holding in Dutch bottle-maker Heye Glas to 100% from 33%. Heineken said it had bought the remaining shares in the Dutch operation from troubled German company Hermann Heye for an undisclosed sum. The Heye Glas operation is entirely dedicated to the production of Heineken“s characteristic green bottles.
