The Hungarian Ministry of Economy and Transportation said 14 January 2008 that it awarded US glass maker Guardian a HUF 400 million subsidy after it installed a HUF 7 billion glass coating line at its plant in Hungary. Guardian said it completed the investment in November 2007. It will hire another 52 staff as a result. Guardian“s plant in Oroshaza (SE Hungary) aimed at revenue of HUF 20 billion in 2007, up from HUF 19 billion in the previous year.
