Defunct glass container and bottle manufacturer Glenshaw Glass Company, Inc. has retained Keen Realty, LLC to market the company“s 42,550 square meter manufacturing facility set on 10 hectares in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania for higher and better offers. The complex consists of multiple industrial buildings and is located in a suburb of Pittsburgh that is currently experiencing growth as retailers begin to develop new sites. “We expect there to be a tremendous amount of interest in this property, as it is provides an excellent opportunity for users, developers and investors” said Keen Realty Vice President Christopher Mahoney. The Glenshaw Glass plant was ordered to cease production by a court-appointed trustee on 22 November 2004. The company“s debts were double the value of its assets. Attempts to find a buyer for the company came to nothing and on 23 May 2005 the firm asked for US Bankruptcy Court permission to begin auctioning off equipment.
