GlassPrint 2009, Europe“s leading event for the decoration of glass, will take place in Darmstadt, near Frankfurt, in Germany on 25-26 November 2009. Decoration is a key process in the manufacture of glass, and adds considerably more value to the end product. GlassPrint 2009 is a two-day conference that will recognize the importance of this expanding and developing sector and will present glassmakers and glass decorators with the latest trends and developments. In the current economic climate, expert speakers will recognize the importance of adding more value to the end product and attendees will be presented with a series of presentations covering: o new innovations in heavy-metal free inks; o innovation in digital printing; o advanced machinery technology; o efficient pre-press technology; o group discussions. The keynote presentation for the container glass session will be presented by Feve and will be entitled How healthy is container glass? The flat glass keynote presentation will by Mike Young and will navigate key issues that have the most dramatic impact on performance of any flat glass screen printing operation. The conference programme at GlassPrint 2009 will once again be complimented by a table-top area of leading suppliers who will exhibit the latest developments in inks, pre-press technology, printing equipment and supplies.
