This year, Saudi Arabia“s Glass Production Company is concentrating on enlarging its share of the market for glass bottles. The company has thus established a factory for flat glass in the town of Al-Jubail. This factory started to produce commercially at the beginning of the current year, so it has produced about 33,000 tons of flat glass. About 30% of this quantity was exported to the Gulf states, and about 21% to other states.
