GANA“s (Glass Association of North America) technical director, Urmilla Sowell, will present at the Glass Performance Days (GPD) conference, to be held in Tampere, Finland, 17-20 June. I am very excited to have the opportunity to go to Glass Performance Days to learn about the new technologies and efficiencies in the glass and glazing industry, Sowell said in the release. This event always has a tremendous variety of presentations and exhibits that offer insight to the new processes and new products entering the marketplace. Sowell“s first presentation at GPD will be entitled Manoeuvring the Glass and Glazing Industry through the Energy Efficiency and Clean Energy Maze: Resources, Standards, Codes and Associations, and will cover the many global resources that are in the glass and glazing industry.
