The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has announced the creation of a new event, the GANA Annual Conference, which will replace Glass Week. The conference will take place 20-24 February 2012, at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota in Sarasota, Florida. Glass Week was a great event for many, many years, says Ashley Charest, account executive of GANA. After holding the event in conjunction with the BEC Conference the last few years, the GANA board of directors felt it was time to sunset Glass Week and create a new conference that is more in line with GANA“s current and future goals. The GANA Annual Conference will feature working meetings of the GANA divisions, various committees, subcommittees and task groups, as well as a general session to provide education and technical information for the entire group. GANA“s Leaders of the Glazing Industry Conference (LOGIC) will remain in Las Vegas before the BEC Conference. Registration for all events will begin later this year, while registration for the GANA Fall Conference is now available on the GANA website.
