Greek refrigerator producer Frigoglass is considering the expansion of its operations abroad through acquisitions in North America. The company is also considering the restructuring of its operations in Nigeria, seeking to boost efficiency and strengthen its glass container and ice cold merchandiser (ICM) production activities. Frigoglass net profit is expected to jump 53% on the year to EUR 36 million (USD 46.1 million) in the first nine months of 2006, according to Deutsche Bank forecasts. The company“s sales in the period are projected to reach EUR 327 million (USD 418.6 million), up 34% year-on-year. Frigoglass debt-to-equity ratio stands at below 0.5.
