During last week“s edition of Vitrum, For.El. continued to promote innovation in the composition of the insulating glass, sustaining and developing the performances of double-glazed panels; by now undisputed protagonist of the contemporary construction building that asserts its importance in terms of insulating efficiency, not only as an extremely flexible architectural solution, but also as a technologically advanced solution for tangible energy savings. For more than 20 years For.El. insulating glass production plants have been and are concrete witnesses of technological developments and, during Vitrum, the company confirmed this philosophy by introducing its most recent automations studied to guarantee the best advantages in terms of competitiveness, divided in four principal thematic areas: glass edging, IG spacer application, IG gas filling and glass laminating. In glass edging, For.El.“s recent version of the EM vertical grinder ensures: – fast production times, which are reduced by 50%; – automatic detection of glass dimensions; – curved and straight line processing; – optimized squaring of the sheet and distinguished glass edge removal capacity; – better edge finishing by choosing among arrissing, grinding and polishing. In IG spacer application: following the progressive affirmation of thermoplastic spacer frames, For.El. is the only Italian company introducing automatic applicators, which, in their most recent series – Art. TBB – automatically applies the Warm Edge spacer with PIB butyl on line extrusion on the two sides of the spacer. In IG gas filling, For.El. has carried out important developments with regards to reliability and performances. In fact, the filling process of the air gap with gas takes place during coupling inside the press with series APG and APGS. The so called laminar filling process eliminates the drawback of the formation of turbulences inside the unit chamber without gas waste, getting a percentage of more than 95%, therefore optimal. This further technological improvement has brought to the possibility of gas filling of large-sized IG units, equal to jumbo-sized IG panels, highly requested in the commercial building industry, but not only. In glass laminating, For.El. laminated glass production plants are state-of-the-art plants in technology and devoted to a production of particularly complex glass types, with over 30 years of experience in flat glass processing machinery manufacture.
