FMC Wyoming Corporation announced on 21 September that it will increase off-list soda ash prices by USD 10/short ton for all grades of soda ash effective as of 1 November 2010, or as contract terms permit. The increase applies to both bulk and packaged products and is in addition to the USD 10/short ton off-list increase previously announced with effect as of 1 July 2010. List prices will remain unchanged. FMC Wyoming Corporation“s current energy surcharge and freight policies for soda ash will remain in effect indefinitely. The energy surcharge base cost will remain USD7/mmBTU.
