Modern building faade windows must meet stringent requirements in terms of safety, solar control and thermal insulation. However, the various processing methods which give conventional float glass the properties it needs for this purpose frequently require time-consuming and costly logistical processes. The solution is provided by temperable glass coatings which allow for short delivery times and maximum processing flexibility. As a result of intensive development work, Euroglas now offers a wide range of T-Glazing for use in solar control and thermal protection. Solar control glazing Silverstar Sunstop T prevents excessive heating of the ambient air by reflecting the incoming radiant solar energy without making the rooms darker. Depending upon requirements, both light permeability and overall energy permeability as well as street appeal can be varied. As such, Silverstar Sunstop Neutral 50 T has a neutral effect on the appearance whilst Silverstar Sunstop Blue 50 T, Sunstop Blue 30 T, Sunstop Blue 20 T and Sunstop Silver 20 T reflect colours. Silverstar Selkt T thermal insulating glass is used particularly in moderate climate regions such as Central Europe thanks to its high thermal protection combined with integrated basic sun control. The classic Silverstar ENplus thermal insulation glass is also available as a T-version. Finally, the Silverstar Combi Silver 48 T and Silverstar Combi Neutral 51/26 T combination glazing combine solar control and thermal protection through low thermal transfer coefficients, average overall energy permeability levels and high daylight utilization. As such, for example, they respond to cold nights and hot days in desert regions or to cold winters and hot summers in moderate latitudes. Faade glazing with temperable thermal insulation and solar control coatings provide flexibility from the logistics aspect as well as savings in time and costs in the handling and construction process. They enable processors to provide an improved service to their clients and offer architects planning reliability. As a result of the increasing demand for temperable coatings for a wide range of applications, Euroglas is continually developing additional faade glazing as temperable T-versions.
