Torsten Keemss is to leave Edgetech Europe after a half decade of success in order to take up new challenges. As managing director, he made a major contribution to the establishment and outstanding success of Edgetech“s European operations. Edgetech has been present on the British market since 1996 and the Central European market since 2002. Edgetech Europe GmbH was founded in January 2004 and is headquartered at Neuss, Germany. Torsten Keemss was responsible for the establishment of the German branch, and quickly ensured Edgetech“s success in EMEA due to his exceptional commitment. Today, insulating glass with Edgetech Super Spacer is manufactured on more than 20 production lines in Europe. Knud Leuschner, a member of the advisory board since the company“s foundation, will assume caretaker directorship until a suitable successor is found for Mr. Keemss. Edgetech I.G. was founded in 1985 and in 1989 became a 100% subsidiary of Lauren International, located in Cambridge, Ohio.
