Eclipse, Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of industrial heating and combustion products, announced 3 May 2004 the opening of its new sales, manufacturing, and service facility in Suzhou, one of the fastest growing industrial centers in China. The 1,200 square meter facility, located in the Suzhou Industrial Park in the Shengpu District of Suzhou, opened on 1 April 2004. A Grand Opening event is scheduled for 14 June 2004. “We are excited to be growing our presence in the industrial market in China by establishing a facility that can quickly create safe, reliable and efficient solutions for providing heat to industrial processes in China,” says Lachlan Perks Sr. VP and General Manager of Eclipse. “By offering our full range of capabilities, from application engineering to locally manufactured systems and technical support, we look forward to participating in the exciting growth of China.” The facility has been developed by Eclipse to serve China“s rapidly growing manufacturing economy. “The energy demands of China are immense,” says Perks. “As natural gas emerges as a viable source of energy for industrialized China, it is imperative that Eclipse establish a position in this emerging market place for heat processing equipment.” The products and services produced by the Suzhou facility, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eclipse, Inc., will service the needs of China“s industries.
