Belgian glassware maker Durobor has successfully completed a project to cut the changeover time of its production lines by 50%, it was reported on 20 October 2005. The company expects that the changeover time of three of its production lines will be halved in the 2H of 2005, compared to the same period of 2003. Faster changeovers are required mainly in order to produce limited series of glasses. Durobor makes drinking glasses for the Jupiler and Ice Tea brands, as well as for the catering and retail sectors. The company expects to post a profit for 2005. Durobor, set up in 1928, is headquartered in Soignies, southeastern Belgium.
