New liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and acetal products are to be commercialised by DuPont of the United States. The first LCP product will sell at 10-15% cheaper than DuPont“s conventional LCP products and will contain 30% glass reinforcement. It will target the electrical and electronic components segment. The acetal line will comprise glass-reinforced acetal homopolymers.
