Automotive supplier Donnelly Corp. said 9 July it would cut 225 jobs, or 3.8% of its worldwide workforce, to reduce costs and increase shareholder value. In North America, 100 jobs will be eliminated, but no production jobs will be cut. Actions this year in Europe include cuts or outsourcing that have affected about 125 production jobs. The Holland, Michigan-based company has more than 6,000 employees in 14 countries.
