25 September 1997: Donnelly Corporation of the United States announced on 10 September that Hans W. Huber, a German, has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer of its European operations. Mr. Huber is an experienced automotive executive and has spent 20 years with some of the world“s top automotive manufacturing companies in Europe, Asia and North America. He was previously Vice President and General Manager of Framatome Connectors Automotive. “Hans is a valuable addition to Donnelly“s top management team,” said Dwane Baumgardner, Chairman and CEO of the firm. “He has years of global auto industry experience, a strong track record in dealing with effective restructuring to achieve operational improvements, and has excellent relationships with Donnelly“s major customers.”
