15 January 1998: German refractory materials maker Didier Werke AG recently announced Walther von Wietzlow as management board chairman from the start of 1998. The group said that Wietzlow will replace Dietrich von Knoop, who retired at the end of 1997. Wietzlow has been in charge of sales on the Didier board since 1995.
