Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced on 14 October 2009 that it has signed a new license agreement in Spain with Cristec Vipla, based in Catalunya. This agreement provides a significant increase in DFI“s market penetration in Spanish architectural markets. Cristec Vipla, is an ISO-9001 certified manufacturer and processor of a wide range of glass products for diverse market segments such as aluminium, PVC, furniture, and other industries. Cristec also manufactures double-glazing units (insulated glass), laminated and tempered glass. DFI“s patented nanocoating offers a unique added-value as a surface protection barrier that will enhance a wide range of our products; we need to remain innovative and offer the best value to our customers, which is the main objective in signing this agreement with DFI, said Jose Planes, managing director of Cristec Vipla. We are pleased to have reached this agreement with such well-established and greatly respected company in Spain“s glass industry; we are looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship, commented Francisco Bono, business director of Aries, DFI“s exclusive representative in Spain. Guillermo Seta, executive director of DFI Global Operations, explained, This agreement with Cristec Vipla provides an additional large-scale partner in the EU to continue our growth in a wide range of markets and to solidify our Diamon-Fusion flagship nanocoating as the premier surface protection system across many market segments.
