Shares in the Croatian laboratory glass manufacturer Schott Boral of Pula, western Croatia, were listed on the JDD tier of the Varazdin Stock Exchange on 11 July 2003. Trading with the shares will start on 14 July 2003 under the stock symbol SCHB-R-A. The Schott Boral authorised capital is HRK 36.4 million (USD 5.3 million/EUR 4.7 million) divided into 363,880 shares. The company is a subsidiary of German glass group Schott. Schott Boral exports some 90% of its output. Under a law passed in July 2002, all privately-owned companies with more than 100 shareholders and authorised capital of HRK 30 million (USD 4.4 million/EUR 3.9 million) must list on the public companies tier JDD by 25 July 2003.
