Following a USD 10 million investment, Argentine glassworks Cristaleras Rosario has started up a new furnace which will double production to 70,000 tonnes. In the second phase it will complete the reconditioning of its other furnace, raising output to 100,000 tonnes. The company“s plans include the installation at its Rosario complex of a cider plant for La Farruca, another of the group“s companies.
