Cosmoprof Asia registered very positive figures, both in terms of exhibitions space and visitors attendance, as well as a significant number of media represented.
Cosmoprof Asia, which took place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 9-11 November 2011, once again reaffirmed its importance and influence in the industry with positive growth in all aspects.
This 16th edition of the exhibition – the largest ever, both in terms of exhibitions space and visitors attendance – registered very positive figures:
– 68,000 sq.m. of exhibition space (an increase of 18% on the 2010 edition);
– 1,780 exhibitors (9% more than in 2010) from 42 countries and regions; 466 foreign exhibitors (from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Macao, Continental China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, The Netherlands, Turkey, UAE, UK, US, Vietnam), representing 27% of the total exhibitors (+22% compared to 2010);
– 48,503 total visits for the three days (an increase of 7.5% compared to 2010) with a record in international attendance (Hong Kong not included): 29,945 visits (up 14% on 2010) with the increase coming mostly from Australia, Brazil, Mainland China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Middle East, Russia, Turkey and US.
Cosmoprof Asia remains the cornerstone event for the cosmetics world in the second half of the year, confirmed also by the significant number of media represented: more than 160 local and international journalists attended the three-day event.
The next Cosmoprof Asia will be held from 14 to 16 November 2012 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
