Corning Incorporated announced 6 December 2007 that its board of directors has elected Dr. Jean-Pierre Mazeau to senior vice president, Corporate Product and Process Development, effective 1 January 2008. He continues to report to Dr. Joseph A. Miller, Jr., executive vice president and chief technology officer, with overall responsibility for the effectiveness of the product and process development function for the company.
